And I'm Back
After 5 days of not being about to blog my page is finally working again!! Finishing touches for Bearhug Interview and gig review are on their way!!
Here is some news for you guys... Jack White has hinted about some movement surrounding his Solo Album!! Apparently his extensive resume of musical projects, including his latest, The Dead Weather, were not enough to keep him occupied. White commented last June about his plans to add a solo venture to his repertoire.... It is fair enough, the poor bugger probably just wants some alone time!
The album has not been given any time frames as the singer/songwriter would rather live without a calendar in front of him. There is a bit of buzz surrounding the project via both NME and Rolling Stone which makes me think it will be sooner rather than later.

If you enjoyed this, then you may also be interested in a little doco called & "Rock the Bells". This film follows the first ever Rock the Bells hip hop festival that began back in 2004 in San Bernardino, California. This festival boasted a line up that included DJ Nu-Mark of Jurassic 5, Sage Francis, Redmanand the Wu-Tang Clan. The Wu-Tang performance at Rock the Bells was the last time all 9 (10 if you include unofficial member Cappadonna ) performed together before the death of Ol' Dirty Bastard four months later. RIP
Although there was no deaths at this festival, to me, this was the modern day Altamont Speedway Free Festival in terms of lack of preparation for the mass human onslaught. Organisation was haphazard and the promoter at one point even has his elderly mother carrying bags of cash containing $30G plus through the festival. Anyway go rent it...
Also, we are now at 430 members for my group. Feel free to join up
