Hello media graduate aspiring film producer and writer!!! So same city ay? I think calling it shitty is a pity, I'm rather fond of my whereabouts. As for the matter that is organic, no books or websites for me...just head on down to your nearest farmers market and strike up a conversation with any old guy holding a shovel or pitchfork and your on the right track to finding out about the organic life! Right on, too easy huh? So onto a different topic all together, whats on your summer menu? Any festivities that might not be on mine yet? Peace out!!!

Never wanted to be ON radio. I studied all the back stuff like sales, advertising, promotions etc.
initially wanted to get into promotions but now, after learning so much in a year and a half, have definitely changed my tune.
AFTRS would be good. You'd learn alot there. Volunteering at a radio station is where you will get all your hands on needs though.

MUSIC FESTIVAL INFOMERCIAL VIDEO

Not really placing ads. Just booking the clients in with Fairfax (who run our sites) and then sitting around going through the site all day and checking all the ads are up!
It's really rather mundane but you need to start someone and I couldn't pass up an opportunity with Austereo. Originally studied radio at uni so after my internship with them, managed to score a job. Online wasn't originally my aim but I absolutely love my team and wouldn't have it any other way.
You can actually see some extra work I've been doing while trying to worm my way into the content side of the website.
Do you need any radio advice??? I CAN GIVE IT TO YOU! (Maybe) hehehe after all I studied it for 3 long years.
what do you do with yourself?
I've actually really enjoyed this blogging and could get quite comfortable in it. I didn't think anyone would want to read, but turns out people enjoy them :)

Oh gosh, The Golden Girls were pretty much my first crush ever. Come hell or high water I'd watch it every Saturday (before or after Hey Hey, I can't remember...). I've probably watched each season a good ten times over as they've been released on DVD. Love.it.to.bits!

sweet new pic! i checked out that bag raiders song 'cause you reccommended it :) last night i was listening to breathe me by sia, and even though it's old and kind of over played a little, it struck me how beautiful it was.

Hey!! Yeah there was a roll of about 50 photos with me and that random facepaint on... My friend Stu painted my face after I demanded to paint him like a tiger, and only after the photos were done and uploaded etc did we realise that the tongue should have been across the lips as well, so smiling wouldn't have been an issue!!! But to answer your question (in an around about way) I had many photos of me cracking up to balance the 'blue steel' options. Youve done really well with your blogs, and from what Ive seen I think I could definately handle a night out on the town with you and your mates!! hahah. Good luck, LadyTrumpet.

Thanks for popping by! I've been contributing to FL for a few years now and while at times it can be frustrating (sometimes interviews/photo sets/articles don't get published), it's certainly given me ample opportunity to test and exercise my skills both photographically and journalistically.

Yes! Shanghai are playing very soon - in about 2 weeks at the Excelsior in Surry Hills on 8 January with an amazing Japanese band, Vampillia. They're crazy but so are we ;) It would be great if you could come down - perhaps we could do a short video together before the deadline!

i did another one the other day but it was terrible we need to film it again because the filming was terrible hahah i have an international interview(possibly a few) but they are just phone interviews and i dont know when they will, happen I hope its in time. Dyln was so good to interview. It was so funny I introduced him then asked him "is there anything else up your sleve" and i kept having to hold my self back from saying..."other than those massive guns" hahah what have you gusy got coming up

I do appreciate a body that steps from the norm. I agree with you i haven't listen to the radio for a while but since my ipod died in my bag in a pool of Bacardi i have been listening to the radio for the last week and i have to say there are a few new names popping up. I'm cascading through festival and gigs, Woodford, Kasabian, Laneway to Lost Valentinos is a eclectic whirlpool, not to be toped by Carole King & James Taylor, bring it home with the origins. Whats been the greatest gig u have seen lately?
